— Solo Travel —

Your story, your pace, your way.

Solo travel done at a luxury level — safety, quiet confidence, the right people to meet, and the freedom to do absolutely nothing if that's the day you're having.

— Why this style with us —

Solo Travel — done thoughtfully.

Solo travel isn't lonely when it's done right. We design trips for solo travellers who want luxury without the awkwardness of dining alone for ten nights. Single-supplement-free properties where it matters, small group tours when you want company, total solitude when you don't. Many of our solo travellers are women in their 30s-60s — and we plan with their safety, comfort and dignity as the first priority.

— What sets us apart —

Three things we always get right.

01

Safety considered, never compromised

Vetted drivers, female-friendly hotels, 24-hour Kishan hotline. We brief properties before arrival so you're never the 'solo woman'.

02

Single-supplement waivers where possible

We negotiate single-supplement waivers at partner hotels. You shouldn't pay double just because you're travelling alone.

03

Curated company when you want it

Small group tours of 4-8 people, private cooking classes, expert-led walks. Meet people, share a meal, or stay solo. Your call each day.

Japan for solo travelers
— Where we recommend —

Best places, chosen for this style of journey.

Japan

Ryokans in Hakone, Kyoto's quiet temples, Tokyo's hidden bars. Famously safe, immaculately respectful, deeply rewarding for solo travel.

Tuscany

Slow drives through Chianti, cooking classes in farmhouses, wine tastings in small groups. Beautiful for solo, easy to meet locals.

Sri Lanka

Tea estates, ancient cities, beach retreats. Friendly culture, English widely spoken, gentle pace. A great first-solo destination.

Iceland

Northern lights, glacier walks, geothermal spas. Surprisingly suited to solo — guides become friends, the landscape gives you space.

— Signature experiences —

Moments only this style delivers.

Solo city wanderings
— Sample itinerary —

A week, shaped around what matters.

An example — every journey we plan is unique to you.

Day 1

Arrive at your boutique hotel — fully briefed staff, room upgrade if available. Quiet first dinner in your room or at the bar (your choice).

Day 2

Private guide for a personal city tour. Lunch at a local family-run restaurant. Free afternoon — bookshop, museum, walk.

Day 3

Small group cooking class (4-6 people, mixed solo travellers and couples). You'll exchange numbers with at least one person.

Day 4

Day trip with private driver-guide. Vineyard or temple visit. Lunch overlooking something beautiful. Solo dinner with a good book.

Day 5

Spa day. Massage, lunch by the pool, no schedule. Evening tasting menu at the hotel restaurant — chef sends out extras.

Day 6

Photography workshop or wellness day. Optional small group dinner if you want company. Otherwise stay in.

Day 7

Slow morning. Final wander. Transfer home with a sense of having actually done something for yourself.

I'm 52, recently divorced, and Japan was the trip I'd put off for years. Kishan made it feel possible. Female-friendly hotels, briefings ahead of my arrival, a guide in Kyoto who became a friend, and a single-supplement waiver at the ryokan. I never once felt 'the lonely woman'. I came back different.
