Dubai is misunderstood. The skyline gets the attention — Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, the malls. But the real Dubai is in Al Seef's restored heritage district, Mleiha desert at sunset, Hatta mountain hikes, and abra boats crossing the creek for 1 dirham. We plan Dubai for first-timers (skyline + desert classics) and returning travellers (heritage districts, art scene, mountain extensions). Best as a 4–6 night standalone, or as a stopover paired with the Maldives, Sri Lanka, or India.
